Super hotel, brilliant location, friendly staff, amazing breakfast. Lovely room, clean and comfortable. Ample sun loungers for all and gorgeous pools to choose from. Great gym. We had the best time - loved it. Thank you to the Tivoli team.

I have stayed at the Tivoli six times over the years. The position is excellent, allowing a lovely sea side walk to La Caleta or Adeje, good rooms with nice bathrooms, decent pool area and excellent breakfast. However it has become the most impersonal, soulless, indifferent and unhelpful hotel I have probably ever stayed in. Let me tell you why. My stay was for 17 nights, half of which I took my three adult sons and their partners. We ate at the restaurants, drank at the bars, had poolside drinks, and played padel. So quite active guests. At no point in my whole stay did anyone greet me by my name, ask how my day was, or make any attempt to acknowledge my existence. I stayed at a similar sized resort in the islands a few months ago and the breakfast greeter within a few days knew my name and we had a chat about the holiday, weather, hotel offers etc. At the Tivoli, I was asked for my name and room number, followed by “do you want outside?” Seventeen days on the trot. I retired recently and went on a tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. At every hotel there was a small gift, wine, fruit or a cake, with a personalised note saying thank you for staying at the hotel. I was at the Tivoli for my 60th birthday celebrations and there was not a single acknowledgement. The staff at reception or concierge were functional however if any request was slightly off guidelines, it was shut down with a no immediately. One day my wife queried an item on the bill that was clearly wrong. The receptionist accepted the mistake, and told my wife to go to the hotel restaurant and sort it out herself. My wife asked if she could do this and was told “no”. This went on for a few minutes until luckily a more senior member of staff came past and said of course they would sort it out. Everything was hard work and never done happily. We asked to speak to the GM on a number of occasions but was never contacted. I just feel the hotel has lost its soul and personality.

Hotel is faultless throughout and whats made our stay perfect was thr friendly staff who looked so happy to be at work, whilst totally professional which create and amazing atmosphere throughout the hotel. Great location with beech bars within 2 min walk? La Caleta and easy 10/15 mins walk and Costa Adeja 30/40 mins again easy flat walk.
