NH Motel… wants to but can't

Hotel with dated rooms and indecent bathrooms (at least our rooms). Kilometers to get to the room, hallways and stairs without elevators to navigate with suitcases. A la carte restaurants always full according to the staff but empty. Half of the staff is inadequate, unprepared, and cleaning is mediocre. Very high prices, low-level service. Never again.

We had been hoping for a 4 star experience and it was barely a 2 star .. the room was clean but cheaply designed . Our room was located so far from the hotel mail lobby you needed a map to figure it out and the hallways in need of major repairs.. planters with no plants smelt moldy pool loungers were need of repair ..elevators were old and in need of repair as per pics .. we tried to leave but they wouldn’t refund our money because we booked through a third party .. neither one would take responsibility.. seems like a racket..We won’t be going back The Two stars are for the staff they were all very nice but the hotel failed on so many levels we were hoping for a 4 star experience

The hotel is in the center. The rooms are quite spread out over the hotel. Lots of stairs, elevators, and lots of open spaces. Looks like a maze but it had something. The standard rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Decent pool but what I found terrible was that a little wine was served in a plastic cup. Doesn't taste good. The breakfast is very good. Walking distance to the nice center about 10 min. Lots of elderly couples. Too bad the peace was disturbed by noisy English sailors who were full of beer. For a short stay, this hotel is okay.
